It was really important to Cari that she have some words of wisdom from each guest, so she made these adorable notecards for everyone to jot down a sentiment or two as they arrived to the shower.
The food table featured and was centered around an exquisite cake crafted and decorated by none other than the extremely talented bakers at Homestyle Bakery. They also made the tasty deer stamp cookies that just looked darling with all of the other décor.
Thank you to Cari's mom for opening up her home to host the shower and helping us with so many of the styled elements, and to her sister who helped do so much to make the shower perfect. Being the foodie that she is, she made several of the menu items for the table. They are pretty excited to say the least about baby girl's arrival!
Who doesn't love a little candy?! We setup an entrance table with some candy and photos of Cari and Adam as babies. Wonder which one of them little Miss Ivy will come out looking like!
The guests had their pick of fruit tea, cucumber/lemon/mint water, or mint berry breeze, all served in antique glass goblets.
We styled the mantle to continue the outdoor nature theme that was carried through the rest of the rooms. Thank you to Cari's sister for creating such an adorable little banner to display baby girl's name.
Cari's mom surprised her with giving baby Ivy the gown that she brought Cari home from the hospital in. Such a sweet moment! Cari's exact response, "I was fancy!" We can bet that little Ivy will be just as so.
Adam and Cari were beyond thankful and overwhelmed by all of the love and support of the 60 ladies who came out to celebrate baby Ivy Belle Suttle. Baby girl is already so loved and cherished by so many, and we couldn't have been happier to share this special day celebrating her. Thank you to the amazing Jessie Holloway for capturing this day so perfectly!
Now, we are just looking forward to her arrival...come on May 7th, 2015!
